I needed a cheap amplifier to play my home recordings thru to hear and multi-track my sessions through. A friend sold me his old Kenwood receiver. It is more powerful than I need at the moment. The nice thing is if I elect to upgrade to better speakers down the road, the receiver is powerful enough to push them to ear-splitting levels. Specs are below.
